Development work centers on high-performance cementitious and synthetic resin flooring products that offer reliable application while meeting sustainable building requirements, particularly through the achievement of extra-low-emission ratings for high indoor air quality.
Increasing requirements regarding VOC emission and particle emission are found in many sectors of industry. Today high-tech industries as semiconductor and optoelectronics manufacturing have certainly the most stringent demands on cleanliness. Cleanroom suitable, ultra low emitting Sikafloor® products (SR 269 CR) contribute to higher process reliability and effectiveness. These flooring systems are also available with antistatic or dissipative properties. The qualification and classification into ISO-classes is ensured by our external partner Fraunhofer IPA.
Sika supplies full range of various Comfortfloor systems with features such as acoustic improvement, noise reduction, comfort under foot, low VOC emission, AgBB compliant.
Sika has developed new decorative system with various effect such as: 1. disruption look with Flake. 2. granite effect for continuous and joint less floor. 3. decorative and mosaic mortar.
Sika has also systems which comply with Pharmaceutical industry requirement for hygiene and Aesthetics.
Requirements for floor coatings designed for car parking decks are rather high, especially the crack bridging property, chemical resistance and not least the abrasion resistance. Essential for the durability of a coating setup are the properties at the job site. Low temperature combined with high humidity is usual for car parks, first of all in basements. As the typical wearing layer is based on polyurethanes, high humidity results in foam formation. Foam formation in the wearing layer reduces the mechanical resistance and therewith the durability of the complete setup.
Sika has now new tailor-made system with light solution and aesthetic possibility, an alternative to the old bituminous based black car parks.
Sika has the latest generation of Sikafloor® systems to meets the most stringent requirement. Safe at use. Elimination of Phenol based raw material.
The new Sikafloor® Blueline is safe at use, with elimination of Phenol and Benzyl Alcohol based raw materials
