Good food for people in need

Since 2005 Sika supports the commitment of the "Schweizer Tafel" ('Swiss Table') as main sponsor. The association rescues food which, according to the legal requirements, is suitable for consumption. Every day tons of food are collected and given for free to social institutions such as doss houses, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and other charities. The "Schweizer Tafel" is organized pursuant to the American model of "City Harvest" and the "Berlin Tafel". Today the association is operating in 11 regions throughout Switzerland serving 525 social institutions.
