Sika’s Growth Continues
During the first 9 months of the fiscal year 2003 the Sika Group recorded net sales of CHF 1 701 m (previous year CHF 1 613 m). The growth in Swiss francs was 5.5%, of which CHF 33 m was attributable to acquisitions.
In local currencies net sales of the Sika Group increased by 10.7%, whereas the construction division grew 11.2% and the industry division 9.4%.
Consolidated net profit developed favorably and exceeded results in the prior year by 13.8% to CHF 83.5 m.
Sika expects from the fourth quarter of the current year that the stable growth will continue.
