Sika’s mission statement highlights: “Our aim is to address environmental and safety concerns throughout the value chain.” On the quest for using Sustainability as an important value proposition for Sika’s products and services, the aim of the Product Sustainability approach is to analyse the “sustainability” of our technologies and products.

For the company, all sustainability activities are guided by global megatrends, which will re-shape our markets and the future of our businesses.
Sika recognizes and pays particular attention to the following increasingly important challenges:
- Limitation of energy and raw materials
- Climate change and regulation of the carbon market
- Water shortages and poor water quality
