Repair for Direct Glazing
As key safety components of the car, windscreens not only contribute largely to the rigidity of the vehicle, but in the event of an accident it also supports the airbags if passengers are thrown against them. The windscreen must remain firmly in place during an accident, in order to prevent pedestrians or passengers being injured by flying glass. These properties are guaranteed in the original condition of the car by the manufacturer. In the event of a broken windscreen, a replacement is required to meet the same requirements and performance criteria in order to maintain the same high safety standards.

Repair for Reinforcer
When a vehicle has been damaged, the reinforcing components can suffer as badly as the rest of the bodywork, therefore this has to be replaced as well. The Reinforcer Repair system from Sika is designed to replace the original reinforcing component, to achieve the same level of comfort and resistance to damage as a new vehicle would. SikaReinforcer Repair systems consists of the Reinforcer component, the two-component Repair adhesive and the specific mixer. Depending on the application and if the customer requires it, other parts and tools can be included.
Repair for Acoustics
Acoustic dampening systems can be compromised following a collision and need to be restored to their factory condition. In the event of a repair, these pre-formed factory-built acoustic parts cannot be replaced, as these expand only at the high temperatures that are achieved in the Cataplasm-bath at the OEM.
With SikaBaffle Repair Foam Sika provides a product, which is used for filling and damping in instances where pre-formed parts were originally used. It is a two-component foam where heat is not necessary for expanding and curing.
