For bonding of of large scale concrete segments during segmental bridge construction work, Sika can provide special epoxy adhesives. Additional applications for bonding concrete elements with Sikadur adhesives also occur in many other areas including roofs, concrete pipes, retaining walls and tanks etc.
Steel Carbon Fiber and Glass Fiber Elements
Sikadur epoxy adhesives have been widely used since the 1960’s to bond steel plate on concrete structures. But these special adhesives are also used to bond composite sections based on glass or carbon fiber.
