Since fall 2004 a new district in Munich has been under construction. Beside premium apartments, restaurants and business buildings, this new district has a new modern city hotel which belongs to the Spanish hotel chain Hotusa. At the beginning of September 2009 this modern four star hotel was opened. It accommodates 247 rooms and has had 6000 m² of bonded wood floors installed.

The Hotel Milenijum at Opatija in Croatia is a Hotel with many different facilities. The wellness centre and SPA areas had become tired and were not longer up to date, so it was decided to undertake a though upgrading and to give these areas a modern face lift.

The Palm Jumeirah is one of the most exciting residential projects on earth. A man-made island, it is being built off the shores of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Palm shaped development extends 6.5 kilometres into the Arabian Gulf and is surrounded by an eleven kilometre-long crescent shaped breakwater, built with over seven million tons of rock and sand. It adds 60 kilometres of beachfront to the coast of the UAE – which is all now being developed for private beach residences and some thirty five star luxury hotels.

The Accor Hotel Group is building a new luxury hotel comple in Argentina. This outstanding hotel is located in the middle of the Cardales nature reserve and has 159 luxury rooms, plus a convention centre with meeting rooms and facilities for up to 1‘500 people. The total floor area will be over 27‘000m² and it is currently still under construction, it will be fully opened for business during 2008.

The Duhau Palace was built by Carlos Ryder in 1890 and it is a magnificent building in the typical style and grandeur of the late 19th century. Seventy years later, it was converted into the new Park Hyatt Buenos Aires Hotel. The hotel has 165 rooms and a total floor area of around 15‘550m².

From the days of the old palace there were many rooms that the new owners wanted to be restored and recreate their luxurious ambience. Some of these rooms had originally had wooden floors with a unique pattern and design. The new wood flooring was therefore ‘tailor made’ to be in keeping with the style of the original “Versailles board” design.
