Britvic is a soft drink manufacturer of leading brands such as Robinsons, Tango and Pepsi, as well as their own Britvic range. An existing 6’000 m² warehouse was refurbished and converted into a bottling plant for the new Pepsi half litre bottles. The work was carried out by specialist flooring contractors IRL of Loughborough in the very short time of four weeks and the plant is now contributing to the 1.1 billion litres of soft drinks sold by Britvic every year.

Renovation of an existing floor that had previously been used as a logistics and storage area, was necessary to provide a new production area, due to huge increases in demand for the companies products. Durability, safety and aesthetics were key criteria from the clients project team. An economic solution was also very important of course.
