Less water by fluorine coated steel embossing rolls
Dyflex, a leading brand for waterproofing solution, improved at its Ukishima plant cooling methods for embossing the roller in the bitumen sheet line. Within one year 1,569 m3 water was saved.
The cooling water in the embossing rolls to a circulation system. Fluorine coating on steel embossing rolls reduces the number of times the rolls need to be cleaned with water, at the end this means saving on water.
