Safety at Sika: to be applied to every aspect of work and life

Sika has been awarded the President’s Safety Award from the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) at the 2022 Fall Convention in Atlanta, GA, USA.

Sika is the first manufacturer to be awarded this prestigious honor and it is a testament to the company’s commitment to safety for all employees. ICRI created the Safety Awards program to recognize best practices in the industry, to celebrate the leaders in the field, and to share those best practices so others may learn, employ and promote a culture of safety in the concrete repair industry.ICRI presented awards in the following categories: Contractor, Engineer/Architect and Manufacturer/Supplier.

The awards committee recognized those companies most successful in creating, implementing and growing a strong safety culture through demonstrated practice. Entries were measured by OSHA recordable rates, EMR ratings, management commitment to safety, training & development, audit programs, incident reviews and other differentiators.
