Responsibilities & Opportunities

  • Responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
  • Perform quality testing and make corrections for out-of-spec conditions.
  • Inspection of finished goods that include checks for part weight, thickness, dimensions per PackCat.
  • Documentation of first and last piece inspections.
  • Print and apply FG labels to packed part containers.
  • Assisting line operators in quality related issues.
  • To assist in coordinating the work of production helpers and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and all safety rules as followed.
  • Ensure production schedule is adhered to.
  • Assist in training new production employees.
  • Back-up Press operator duties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Report production data on daily production log sheet and turn into shift supervisor.

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in related quality functions to include inspection/ measurement of product
  • Mathematical skills, basic quality knowledge, basic computer skills, basic print reading, communication and problem solving skills
  • Team player
