For the Future

“More value - less impact" - that's the name of the Sika sustainability strategy. With the aim of “enhancing utility and reducing impacts”, Sika pursues six strategic target areas, focusing on sustainable solutions, climate performance, community engagement, energy, waste/water, and occupational safety. As Sika, we attach importance to a sustainable future and we aware of how important waste management is for our future. Sika Turkey organized a competition with the purpose of drawing attention to waste management for a sustainable environment, and asked young people to share their creative projects on waste management and recycling.

With the Future

Let us introduce Gizem and Abdullah; they are our young heroes building the future! Not only did they dream for a beautiful world, but also put their ideas into practice together with Sika. They made contributions to the restoration of a playground with waste materials by using concrete cube samples, aggregates and various Sika products.

factory. They also examined the waste products in the waste field.

After that it was time to get to work - Gizem examined the concrete samples and learned about putting the existing concrete cubes in the form of aggregate and bringing concrete in a castable form with slump experiment.
