Why did you choose Production and Application of Construction Materials?
At first I wanted to apply to the "Industrial and Civil Engineering" faculty, but it worked out so that I ended up at the "Production and Application of Construction Materials" faculty. In the present, fast-moving world this seems to be a very promising field, hence I am quite happy I chose it.  I would like to work and gain further new
knowledge in this sphere.

Why Sika?

I learned about Sika rather accidentally, and reading up in more detail made me confident to apply for the traineeship. After the interview I got approved and I am glad to state that I have met pleasant, responsive people here who are very supportive in helping me build up my knowledge and extend my skills. I am therefore very thankful my career starts at Sika.

So far, how do you like working for Sika?

Now I am  working in  the Technical and  marketing department and I consider that I was really lucky. I have a remarkable chief who is my mentor, and on top of that I enjoy communicating with the colleagues around me who are very understanding and very supportive people who help me get to the core of things and learn something new.

What do you expect from this experience?

First of all, I expect to widen my work experience, as well as getting new knowledge and skills. This also seems to be a great opportunity to work in a global company - a chance not everyone has. I hope overall the traineeship will be a good start to my further career.

What are your plans for the future?

I plan to develop myself and further realize in this  field. I consider that in such a company as Sika it is possible to work, develop and build up a successful future.

Why did you choose the Mechanization and Automation department?
Since an early age I have been drawn to the world of machines and mechanisms and have been very curious about how they worked. Hence choosing a specialty in life was not a complicated process for me and I made the decision to study deeper construction transport and equipment without much hesitation, and would still do the same now.

Why Sika?

When I had one more year to go at the university, I was seeking a part time job and got lucky by finding myself at Sika. I literally fell in love with the company back then as I happened to meet well wishing and supportive people, and importantly - with rich sense of humor. This made my stay with Sika a fast paced and interesting experience. I made a note back then that I would love to work in this global company further on, to enrich my knowledge and develop myself. And here I am, glad to state it.

So far, how do you like working for Sika?

It is a pleasure for me to work here. Every day I am learning something new, and my colleagues do their best sharing their vast knowledge, which I appreciate a lot.

What do you expect from this experience?

I am working now in the R&D department  and  my work has a lot to do with  quality control of the products we make. Experience is the most valuable thing we can get in life. Comprehending new skills and abilities which I receive here, I am developing myself professionally as an engineer, and on top of that I am enriching my personality. Therefore the more I learn here, hopefully the more smart and interesting a personality I will become.

What are your plans for the future?

I am not going to stop in my tracks and I hope to deliver my own valuable input one day to the success story of Sika and its further development.
