Support for families in difficult circumstances

Sika Austria is committed to a workshop for disabled persons where production work is carried out on behalf of external companies. The sheltered workshop Korneuburg aims to effectively improve the living conditions of people with mental disabilities in society. 38 persons with disabilities are working here each day.

The Sika team renovated the flooring in one of the buildings and provided a Sikafloor® epoxy resin system. Colleagues from application technology and back office were carrying out the renovation.

Sika Cares – Support for charitable projects

SikaCares either provides Sika products or volunteering work of employees. Charitable commitment is an important part of Sikas sustainability strategy.

In 2021, the Sika Austria team has already built parts of the roof at the Regenbogental therapy farm in Leobersdorf, Lower Austria, and donated over 20,000 liters of sanitizer to an Austrian association

"With the renovation of the floor in the 'Pfiffikus' workshop, Sika did help us to fulfill all the regulatory requirements. Many thanks to the dedicated Sika employees!" Johannes Hofer, Director of the sheltered workshop in Korneuburg, Lower Austria
