Sika Commits to Net Zero by No Later than 2050

The motto of Sika Capital Markets Day 2022, is “Our Path to Net Zero”. Sika’s management team outlines the strategy that allows the company to maintain a high level of growth while achieving its net zero targets by 2050. 

Sustainability-related considerations have been integrated into Sika’s corporate strategy for more than a decade. Through research and development, Sika develops solutions that address performance requirements while supporting objectives such as material efficiency, durability, reduced maintenance needs, and the use of alternative raw materials where feasible. These activities, together with efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in operations and product development, support the company’s long-term net-zero ambitions.
