Operation Smile Thailand is a non-profit-medical charity set up in 1997, as a part of Operation Smile International dedicated to providing free treatment to children and adults suffering from cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. Sika (Thailand) Ltd. has been sponsoring Operation Smile Thailand missions to provide free corrective procedures to underprivileged cleft lip and cleft palate patients every year since 2014.
A Mission to Transform Lives
For over a decade, Sika (Thailand) Ltd. has proudly partnered with Operation Smile Thailand, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and well-being. Since 2014, we have supported their life-changing missions to provide free corrective surgeries for underprivileged patients suffering from cleft lips, cleft palates, burn injuries, and other facial deformities. Despite a brief pause during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, our commitment has never wavered.
Over the years, more than 250 Sika volunteers have joined these missions, helping transform the lives of over 1,000 children and adults across Thailand. In 2025, volunteers from Sika Thailand will participate in the upcoming mission from 24–26 May 2025 in Maesot, Tak Province. The results speak for themselves: during the most recent mission, 153 patients received comprehensive medical evaluations, and 94 of them underwent life-changing surgeries—restoring smiles, confidence, and opportunities for a brighter future. Together, we are making a difference—one smile at a time.
