Global Customer Satisfaction Survey

In 2025, Sika conducted a Global Customer Satisfaction Survey, delivering systematic, country level insights from both buying and non-buying customer groups, complemented by consolidated regional and global perspectives. This initiative strengthened Sika’s ability to identify strengths and improvement areas, reinforcing the company’s commitment to build on product quality and value-added services while addressing customer concerns related to supply chain reliability and service responsiveness.

Based on these insights, countries are implementing targeted actions to enhance customer experience, focusing on the specific needs of individual customer groups and local market requirements. At the regional and global levels, Sika supports these initiatives by addressing systemic challenges and enabling continuous improvement across markets. Strengthening weaker areas goes beyond closing gaps; it further reinforces Sika’s position as a trusted partner and market leader.

Sika introduces diverse digital tools that enable customers to easily find information, connect with Sika teams, access services, learn online, and make purchases. These tools are built on integrated data sources to ensure consistent, friction-free experiences worldwide. Automated dashboards further support teams in monitoring and continuously improving customer interactions across markets.

Customers’ training

Beyond high-quality products, Sika provides hands-on training at customer sites, at Sika facilities, and online. This ensures that customer teams can confidently select and apply solutions to achieve maximum performance. In addition, Sika’s Applicator Certification Programs further enhance customer expertise, unlock new capabilities, and strengthen competitive advantage.

Responsible marketing

Sika ensures responsible marketing by providing transparent, verified, and consistent sustainability information across all product communications. All communications are fact-based, customer focused, and aligned with leading industry standards, enabling customers to make informed, low impact choices.

To address market needs, Sika delivers harmonized sustainability documentation, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) sheets, LEED/BREEAM attestations, and sustainability fact sheets.

Sika is implementing a EPD automation process that enables the generation of high-quality EPD at scale. Automated workflows cover data preparation, life-cycle assessment (LCA), verification, and publication in accordance with EN 15804 and ISO 14025. This ensures rapid and EPD creation across Target Markets and supports increasing regulatory and project-specific requirements.

The Sika® Carbon Compass methodology provides standardized, up-to date PCF calculations. These calculations use emission factors aligned with Sika’s scope 3 framework, ensuring credible and comparable CO₂ data for customers and regulators.

Products that have an SPM Profile with a final classification as “More Sustainable” (Clusters A, B and C) are called “Sustainable Solutions”. Sika’s “Sustainable Solutions” are promoted under the corresponding communication concept and can be easily identified by the “Sustainably Impactful” eye-catcher. For all products promoted as “Sustainable Solutions”, the sustainability fact sheet summarizes and provides a comprehensive overview of the sustainability benefits and aspects of the product. This additional information can be found online on the respective product webpage or through the QR code on the packaging.

In addition, responsible marketing encompasses accurate and compliant product documentation and labelling, ensuring that technical and environmental information is communicated clearly, supports customer trust, and aligns with evolving regulatory expectations.
