In 2025, Sika deepened its commitment to social responsibility through its partnership with Capacity, a Zurich-based non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals with a migration background. This partnership is part of Sika’s broader Community Engagement Program, focused on creating meaningful social impact where it matters most: empowering people to build new lives through employment.

Community Engagement to promote the talent of refugees and migrants

As of September 2025, 25 Sika employees have taken part in the Access Fast Track program, contributing a total of 320 hours of volunteer work. Their roles fall into two categories:

  • Talent Coaches, who guide participants through job search strategies, CV writing, and interview preparation in personalized one-on-one sessions.
  • Network Allies, who offer informal career conversations and help expand participants' professional networks.

The program, now in Cycle 14, continues to grow. After a strong showing in Cycle 13 (which began in May 2025), 16 Sika volunteers have committed to the current cycle. Notably, 9 employees have participated in both cycles, demonstrating deep personal investment in the mission. In Cycle 13, volunteers were supporting 31 job seekers with a refugee and migrant background, in cycle 14, they assisted 28 job seekers.

Barbara Lévy, Global Material Group Manager
"For me, it’s a great opportunity to connect with new people from different backgrounds and to contribute to something bigger beyond my daily work. I’m convinced that motivated talents will not only succeed in this program but also thrive on the Swiss job market—and that’s something I want to be part of." Barbara Levy, Global Material Group Manager, and Sika volunteer

As one new participant, Ilda Kasa, put it: “I’m excited to join a program that aligns withmy values and lets me grow with a mentor from Sika.” With this program, Sika and Capacity are building skills and an entire community. And the journey has only just begun.
