On May 8, the Sika Zurich Tueffenwies site transformed into a hub of purpose and potential. The occasion: the launch of the 2025 Access Fast Track Journey, the first gathering in a new chapter of our partnership with Capacity, a Zurich-based incubator supporting highly qualified refugees and migrants.

Community Engagement to promote the talent of refugees and migrants

The event welcomed 65 participants—including Sika employees, mentors, and individuals with a migration background. From check-in to closing, the energy was grounded in connection. The icebreaker "Mingle Bingo" broke barriers andsparked conversations, creating instant bridges between strangers.

Dara Stucki, EMEA Project Manager HR, introduced our company and emphasized the power of collective action. A former program participant shared a heartfelt story of transformation, reminding everyone that belief and opportunity can reshape lives. This isn’t just volunteering—it’s a commitment to empowerment. The Access Fast Track program helps job seekers navigate the Swiss labor market, providing tools for CV writing, job applications, and integration. So far, 281 people have joined the program, with more than half landing jobs within six months.

Martin Zaech, R&D, Sika Technology
"I truly believe in the idea of helping people to help themselves. This program isn't about charity, it's about empowerment. It’s a meaningful way to support capable individuals and make a real difference. " Martin Zaech, Global Technology Manager TIM, Adhesive Systems, and Sika volunteer
Barbara Lévy, Global Material Group Manager
"For me, it’s a great opportunity to connect with new people from different backgrounds and to contribute to something bigger beyond my daily work. I’m convinced that motivated talents will not only succeed in this program but also thrive on the Swiss job market—and that’s something I want to be part of." Barbara Levy, Global Material Group Manager, and Sika volunteer

As one new participant, Ilda Kasa, put it: “I’m excited to join a program that aligns withmy values and lets me grow with a mentor from Sika.” With this program, Sika and Capacity are building skills and an entire community. And the journey has only just begun.
