Sika has once again been recognized for its strong commitment to sustainability, achieving a Silver Medal in the latest EcoVadis assessment published in August 2025.

Sika Improves EcoVadis Sustainability Rating in 2025

With a score of 72/100, Sika has improved significantly compared to the 68/100 result obtained in June 2024. This progress highlights Sika’s long-term commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability performance. The new score places Sika in the 89th percentile, positioning the company among the top 15% of companies worldwide in the industry category “Manufacture of articles of concrete, cement and plaster”.

Reinforcing Sika’s Commitment

The improvement in the EcoVadis score demonstrates Sika’s consistent integration of sustainability into its business strategy and operations. In particular, the notable advancement in Sustainable Procurement reflects Sika’s dedication to engaging responsibly with suppliers and ensuring high standards across its global supply chain. By focusing on responsible procurement, strong ethical standards, respect for human rights, and environmental stewardship, Sika continues to strengthen its position as a sustainable industry leader.

The EcoVadis assessment focuses on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes (Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement). The 21 issues or criteria are based upon international sustainability standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the ISO 26000 standard, and the CERES principles.
