The Concrete Materials Category handles raw materials to ensure stable supply of concrete admixtures to Sika customers. These raw materials include plasticizers of different technologies, such as PCE (produced in-house by Sika as well as outsourced), ligno- and naphthalene sulfonates and carbohydrates.

Sika serves the cement industry with various grinding aids and performance improvers, which are based upon glycols, amines, glycerins and other materials.

A wide range of biocides is another important segment to stabilize the many substances the company employs in our admixture production.
Other materials include various antifreeze and corrosion inhibiting agents, materials for sprayed concrete, viscosity.

Sika is using a wide range of packaging types made from different materials which are managed by the packaging teams.
The main demand encompasses paper-based valve bags as well as UN certified metal packaging from steel drums to tin plate cans and plastic packaging like Jerry cans and pails.
